Your Mental Health and Well-Being Consultants

Danielle Oakley, Ph.D.

I’m the founder of Oakley & Associates Consulting. I’ve spent the past 20 years creating systemic change to enhance person-environment interactions. I’ve done this by leveraging mental health as a predictor of success and promoting cultures of care where it’s everyone’s responsibility recognize others in distress, respond to them, and help them get to supportive resources, if needed. Impact of racism and other forms of Director at large national and international experience, public, private, large and small, universities, colleges, and boarding schools. creating systems of access to care, Co-editor of the Journal of College Student Psychotherapy, Former Board Member for the Association for University and College Counseling Center Directors,

When we are mentally and emotionally well, we are better able to meet our personal goals and make positive contributions in the lives of others, both personally and professionally. I’m at my best when I partner with others to solve complex problems that contribute to people feeling empowered and engaged. Working with teams and organizations in this way means the collective thrives and better outcomes are achieved.

Teaching as an adjunct and clinical faculty member on group process dynamics has been a primary focus for me. It’s the foundation for how I use psychological safety, trust, and interpersonal effectiveness to foster greater risk taking and engagement in teams. I enjoy guiding others through change and team development. It’s an investment in their capacity to be more resilient.

I first became interested in resilience by working on a NIMH grant for trauma recovery. Since then I’ve been providing crisis response after critical incidents and trying to prevent trauma by implementing suicide prevention programs. I’ve been active in threat assessment and I am a member of the Association for Threat Assessment Professionals, focused on how positive mental health can help prevent workplace violence.

I am Dare to Lead™ trained and I believe that courageous leadership requires vulnerability. We can create brilliant solutions when we come together with a common purpose. I can’t wait to get to work with you and your team!

Christy Gharbo

Hello! My name is Christy Gharbo. I’m a graphic facilitator, Certified Visual Coach®, and the founder of VizualWorxTM. I partner with individuals and organizations to navigate challenges and discover opportunities in their businesses and lives.

I believe most of us already have the answers we’re looking for, we just can’t see them. Using visual thinking and collaboration, I help clients uncover these answers. Acting as a visual thought partner, facilitator, coach, and scribe, I literally “draw information out” of my clients and create a visual representation of their thoughts.

As I help clients “see what they are thinking,” they are able to organize information, generate and shape ideas, uncover patterns, and identify connections. This process of “making meaning” creates clarity, and in turn enables clients to make informed decisions and act with confidence.

I love the moments when the fog is lifted and clients step back and say, “I see it so clearly now.” I have helped individuals, entrepreneurs, small business owners, corporations, and nonprofit groups “see more clearly” and use visuals to solve problems, communicate ideas, facilitate change, and bring ideas to life.

Millie

Hi! I’m Millie. I love my job as the office assistant. I get to watch everyone work together to bring better mental health and emotional well-being to others. I help people feel better by letting them rub my belly (and behind my ears too). I love taking naps during the day. I hear a lot of talk about values and how they guide relationships with others. I feel best about my relationships when someone throws my ball in the yard. Hearing about the rewards of effective communication is fun too. My favorite rewards are small, crunchy, bone-shaped snacks my mom calls “treats”.

I’d like to meet you someday. We could play ball and have treats.
